The Value of a Polled Head

Today well over 10,000 females are above 2000 GTPI. Next year there will be 10,000 more.
Most will get bred to the same basic list of top young genomic bulls. How hard is it to be on top of the list?
There is an alternative available for those looking to add value, or create something unique?
The average GTPI in Nov/11 of the top 16 Polled females sold at public auction in 2011 was 2075.
The average sale price $35,687
Creating a polled female with a marketable PA is easier then you might think.
